The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) conducted two field visits for students enrolled in the Building Construction Engineering course and the Construction Systems Laboratory in Architecture. These visits are part of a series designed to enhance students' educational experiences.
The visits aim to provide a unique opportunity for students to engage with their academic concepts in a practical environment, facilitating their understanding of how engineering theories in real-world projects. During the visits, students explored several leading engineering projects, and the latest technologies and practices used in the construction industry were highlighted.
The visits also included meetings with professional engineers and project supervisors, allowing students to exchange ideas and receive guidance about their future careers. These experiences are not only educationally beneficial but also strengthen their professional networks, contributing to better preparation for the competitive job market.
The society continues to organize these visits to bridge the gap between academic education and practical application, helping students to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of civil engineering.
